Rafael Nadal clinched a 6-3 2-6 6-1 victory in a pulsating final with Novak Djokovic at the Monte Carlo MastersIt was Nadal"s fifth consecutive win in Monaco and, at just 22; the Spaniard has now equalled Roger Federer's mark of 14 tournament wins in the Masters Series.

Andy Murray's hopes of a first tournament victory on clay came to a valiant end as he was beaten 6-2 7-6 (7-4) by Rafael Nadal in the semi-finals of the Monte Carlo Masters.
The Brit showed how much he has improved on his least favoured surface by pushing the world number one all the way in the second set.

World number one Rafael Nadal and fourth seed Andy Murray each bagged two wins in one day to set up a mouth-watering Monte Carlo Masters semi-final.
Nadal, gunning for his fifth consecutive title in the principality, swept past Croatian Ivan Ljubicic 6-3 6-3 in his quarter-final while Murray battled past Russian eighth seed Nikolay Davydenko 7-6 6-4.

Andy Murray recovered from a poor start to lead Italy's Fabio Fognini by a set when rain halted third-round play at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000.
The Briton was leading 7-6 (13-11) 1-0 after recovering from 5-0 down in the opening set on Court des Princes. Murray will resume at 0930 BST on Wednesday, with a potential quarter-final to follow later in the day.

World number one Rafael Nadal reached the third round of the Monte Carlo Masters, although his easy-looking 6-2 6-3 win masked a rusty performance against Argentine Juan Ignacio Chela.
The Spaniard, who is gunning for a fifth successive title, a record in the professional era, looked sloppy at times but regained composure when it mattered to wrap up the win after 86 minutes.

British number one Andy Murray began his clay-court season with a fine win over Romanian Victor Hanescu in round two of the Monte Carlo Masters.
The 21-year-old Scot, who had a bye in the first round as the fourth seed, overcame a tentative start to win 6-3 6-2 in one hour 25 minutes.
Murray faces Croatia's Marin Cilic or Italian Fabio Fognini in round three.

Britain's Andy Murray who, following his defeat to Rafael Nadal in the Indian Wells final, won the Miami Masters Series tournament by beating Serbian Novak Djokovic (world N.3) 6-2, 7-5. The 21 year old Scotsman completely dominated the first set racing to a 4-0 lead in just 25 minutes. In harsh conditions (35 degrees, 60% humidity) Djokovic could not produce the weapons needed to threaten Murray and conceded numerous unforced errors (43 in total).
